Founders Kevin and Ann started Bridge Safe Labs in 2025 with the goal of bridging knowledge gaps in cybersecurity. The aim is to build a safer digital future while empowering individuals to learn and grow in the cybersecurity field. Both are passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise to help: individuals new to cybersecurity, hobbyists, and those with fewer resources.

About Ann

I started in healthcare, actually. I wanted to be a pharmacist. Then I got to Junior year of college chemistry and decided to graduate with an English degree. Graduating in 2020 was not super fun so I ended up going back to school for my teaching license. I taught English for two years before finding a calling in cybersecurity. I had a mentor who encouraged me and taught me some basics while giving me the confidence to study for CompTIA’s Security+ exam. Being self-taught is difficult, but having a guide through it made all the difference in my career transition from education to cybersecurity. Truthfully, after all my pivots, I am thriving. My passion is still for education and making an impact, especially here at Bridge Safe Labs.
About Kevin

Music? Check. Keyboard? Check. Caffeine? Check. Sleep and Sanity? ...Lost that. Hello, and thanks for joining us at Bridge Safe Labs. I go by Macros in my local hacker communities of MN2600 and DC612. I come from humble beginnings of scraping together hardware just to learn to do the things I wanted to do. I started my IT career back in 2016 with a simple help desk job at a small factory and have since moved upwards in the ladder to a Cybersecurity Engineer. I've competed in Capture the Flag events, from Follow Money Fight Slavery, on various public platforms such as TryHackMe or Hackthebox, and The Hunters Games. I’m happily going through everyday exploring new technology available and sharing the cool and interesting things I am finding. So when Ann approached me with the idea of Bridge Safe Labs, it was a no-brainer to partner up with her.
